As a result of 2017, the actual losses in the networks of IDGC of Centre and Volga region, PJSC decreased by 472 million kWh compared to similar indicators in 2016.

Reduce losses in electrical networks has been achieved through the implementation of a number of specially developed organizational and technical measures aimed at loss optimization of the grid infrastructure. Among them-timely reconstruction and repair of power facilities, installation of devices of compensation of reactive power on objects of the company and consumers, replacement of old power equipment on power effective, increase in capacity of power lines, optimization of systems of settlement and technical accounting of the electric power, identification of the facts of non-contractual and non-accounting consumption of electric energy.

It should be reminded that over the past year, during raids, the employees of the energy company together with law enforcement agencies revealed 11,849 facts of illegal consumption of electricity, the amount of damage caused to the company amounted to 400 million rubles. According to the results of inspections, law enforcement agencies initiated 7 criminal and 1,157 administrative cases, 635 people were brought to administrative responsibility. The energy company has already reimbursed over 364 million rubles.

Great importance is attached to energy work to optimize their own consumption of resources for economic and industrial needs. At the end of 2017, due to the use of energy-efficient lighting, modernization of the heating system and thermal insulation of industrial buildings and structures, energy consumption decreased by 911 tons of conventional fuel compared to the plan. Electricity consumption is reduced by 3.7 million kWh, natural gas-by 255 thousand m3, heat energy - by 3,417 Gcal, water consumption-by 27 thousand m3

Recall that in the present time, IDGC of Center and Volga region implemented the Program of energy saving and energy efficiency increase, calculated for the years 2016 to 2022. Monitoring of its implementation is carried out by the Central Commission of IDGC of Centre and Volga region on energy saving and loss reduction.
