Recommendation of the Council will help government, industrial enterprises and energy companies to develop a unified balanced approach to difficult tariffs issues.
The Council, established under the Government of the Republic of Karelia, will be a stable joint advisory body. It includes members of government, heads of energy companies and major industrial enterprises. Chairman of the Board is the first deputy head of the republic Yuri Kancher.

Director of “Karelenergo” Yefim Ashkinezer entered the Council.  In his view, the need for such a consultative body exists for a long time. Issues of energy efficiency and conservation come to the fore, when comes the question of reviving the economy of the republic and the country as a whole. Not by accident, the Prime Minister and the President of Russia is constantly talking about a balanced approach to the system of tariff setting, the need to reduce the proportion of old networks, the modernization of production capacities, introducing of new technologies. Recommendation of the Council will help government, industrial enterprises and energy companies to develop a unified balanced approach to difficult tariffs issues.
