ROSSETI

December 4, 2019

"Being an anchor customer of the industry, Rosseti will contribute to the development of the national export potential", so Pavel Livinskiy

The second day of IENF-2019 began with a business breakfast attended by Pavel Livinskiy, General Director of Rosseti, heads of subsidiaries of the holding, heads of leading enterprises manufacturing equipment for the electric grid compound. The discussion was moderated by Andrei Mayorov, Deputy General Director and Chief Engineer of Rosseti.

During the discussion, the meeting participants noted more than once that the Concept of digital transformation of the entire industry, which was developed and implemented by Rosseti, is, in fact, the framework of a new market for innovative equipment and technologies for the electric power industry.

Such meetings and an open dialogue with manufacturers have become an IENF's tradition. Its goal is to achieve a real breakthrough in the development of the electric grid compound of the Russian Federation due to the synergy of the efforts of the largest operating company and leading suppliers.

Pavel Livinskiy emphasized that Rosseti is as open as possible for cooperation with all suppliers, including foreign companies, provided that production is localized in Russia.

“Today, there are flagships of manufacturers of equipment and software for the needs of our industry. Certainly, we are all in a hurry to change. President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin loaded us with a breakthrough task. But we must remember the proverb: hurry up slowly. It is extremely important for us to prevent subjectivity in decision-making, to prevent any corruption, dishonest suppliers, destructive lobbyism. Therefore, we stand for the quality of decisions made and we step in sequence. We have formed a program with a ten-year horizon. It was extremely important for us to see the goal, to understand where we are moving to, and have a clear planning horizon, to form our ecosystem. And we did it. Our task is to create integrated solutions based on existing developments to change the face of the industry and reduce the operational cost of the infrastructure. We are interested in setting clear standards for manufacturers to implement our development plans so that the manufacturers do not spend efforts and resources on projects that are not demanded today. That is why the today's face-to-face constructive dialogue is so important. And, of course, we stand for fair, honest, and transparent competition. This is also necessary so that the Rosseti group, being an anchor customer, could contribute to the creation of export-oriented products that would be interesting to foreign markets in the medium term,” stressed Pavel Livinskiy in his address.

In total, the discussion was attended by 73 leading Russian and foreign manufacturers of energy hardware and software.
