A ccording to the realization of the strategic goal to passade from areas to functional structure of managment in St-Petersburg the North-West Telecom Executive Board carried a resolution to approve new organization structure of the PTN branch. The passade to the new managment structure is planned to be put into effect till the end of the year. But in common the whole reorganization procceds will be lasted for 3 years.

Today, the managment system with dividing into administrative-technical phone offices in St-Petersburg have been created in the 1 half of  XXth century, when the city was divided by areas principal to 6 offices. Each of office, have own work with clients for concluding treates, fees and etc., serviced all equipment on fixed territory of the city. Now, due network digitalization

there are no such strick needs to territory.

The aims of branch reorganization are:

• the adaptation of managment structure to new principals of commrcial and technical policy,
• the most client orientation, realization of "one window" principal, whom subscribers make profits any company services, no matter their place of living,
• to centralized the operation service (technical facilities) and as a consequences network facility costs optimazation.

As a result of this activity, the functional structure of the branch is grown: commercial department will be fulfil the whole spectrum of work with clients from marketing reseaches, instal of the phone to repairs during the expluatation (The repairs bureau).

The technical department will be responce for bulwark of the day to day managment of every technical subdivision, expluatatio organization and quality expluatation control, repairing the building and equipment, provision of thye work quality and communication acts of the branch.

As to the preliminary estimates the saving from staff optimization will be more than RUR 150 mln. per year.
