Esteemed colleagues, dear friends!

We have a big holiday today, a great anniversary as the dispatch service of Gazprom is a very special structural unit. The CODD is everything to us! This is the unit that makes Gazprom a vertically integrated company. It is the CODD that integrates all of our numerous production and transmission subsidiaries into a single entity. It is the CODD that allows us taking prompt decisions on gas deliveries to consumers in autumn and winter periods and during unforeseen situations far beyond the Russian Federation.

Gazprom always fully meets its obligations to partners and, most importantly – we are confident that it will always act this way.

To a great extent we owe to real professionals who work in the CODD, in our dispatch service. We call these experts “one-of-a-kind goods” since there are no educational establishments that teach dispatchers. They are flesh and blood of Gazprom, they have grown in the Company and know the industry perfectly well. They are the people who in a literal sense stay on duty day and night. Gazprom’s glorious duty.

It is very symbolic that today, on the 50th anniversary of the CODD, we simultaneously celebrate the 50th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin’s space flight. I think this symbolism stems from the fact that cosmonautics is a Russian brand and we all know it well. Gazprom is another Russian brand today. A leading company in the world energy market and No.1 gas company in the world. Of course, it is our dispatch service that makes it possible.

The Gazprom Management Committee Chairman starts his day with the report of the CODD head. The corporate image hinges on the CODD image. When important guests visit us, we certainly show them the CODD dispatch room again. We are proud of our dispatch service. This is our brand indeed, the brand of Gazprom.

And on this festive occasion I would like to express special gratitude to the veterans for the contribution they made to its foundation, to the foundation of Gazprom. Thank you for your selfless work, for the contribution you made to the gas industry development, heartfelt thanks to you on this high day.

I would like to wish new achievements at work to the present employees of Gazprom, to the present employees of the dispatch service. The market becomes global and we move on to a very ambitious goal – making Gazprom a global leader, and I am sure that through joint efforts we will achieve this goal. I would like to wish you all the best, happiness, well-being, warmth and coziness in your families while Gazprom and the Central Operation and Dispatch Department see to it.
