ROSSETI Center and Volga Region

July 15, 2016

Power engineers of IDGC of Centre and Volga region managed to reduce overdue debts from consumers by almost 1 billion rubles

Due to the complex of measures to improve financial discipline, which is implemented in the regions of presence of IDGC of Center and Volga region (part of the group of JSC "rosseti") in the first half of 2016 major counterparties has reduced outstanding receivables by the networkers for a total amount of 906 million rubles.
At the moment in the regions where the grid company there is a steady tendency to decrease in volumes of overdue debts. Most of the contractors agreed that the terms and conditions of debt repayment, their implementation is monitored by networkers, regional Ministers, law enforcement agencies and other representatives of the commissions to monitor the situation with payments for electricity and services for its transmission.
Despite this, in the list of debtors continues to involve energy supply companies, for example, Tula and Nizhny Novgorod divisions of PJSC GC TNS Energo", JSC "vladimirenergosbyt", and a number of other direct customers.
In IDGC of Center and Volga region emphasize that the problem of debts for services on electricity transmission by the defaulters cheaper to solve in the framework of a constructive dialogue. This is to avoid the application of strict measures prescribed by the energy law in this situation: the termination or limitation of electricity supply of the debtor. Networkers are not interested in the suspension of production activities of the company or its bankruptcy, and in obtaining from him the payment of services already provided.
However, when you try to delay the talks or to sabotage the execution of agreements, energy reserves the right to pursue the issue already in court. On the eve of the autumn-winter period of networkers do not consider it possible to risk the financing of the repair and investment campaigns, which will directly impact on the reliability of electricity supply to consumers of nine regions in the cold season.
As practice shows, courts in the vast majority of cases stand on the side of utilities: only for the first five months of 2016 in favor of the hitters was granted 175 lawsuits on violations of consumers of fulfillment of obligations on payment of the rendered services on transfer of electric energy totaling 3.7 billion rubles.
