Due to results of operation in 2010, Moscow Cable Networks, a branch of JSC “MOESK” spent over one billion, four hundred and seventy and a half million rubles at repair program realization to increase reliability level of operation of Moscow city distributive grid.
More than RUR 948.5 million were spent for repair works implemented using own resources, without assistance of contracting organizations.
Over the completed period, the branch has carried out repair of 1,093 transformer and distributive substations compared with the plan of 1,045 units. Complex repair of 22.85 km overhead electric energy transmission lines compared with 18.5 km planned has been implemented, including 284 0.4-10 kV electric energy transmission lines supports.
Total length of repaired cable lines equals 98.1 km while 87.9 km used to be planned. In general, the branch has achieved a significant success in reduction of cable line damages due to implementation of leaden coverage wires and cross-linked polyethylene isolation wires for more than 10 years. In connecting and terminal fittings, a shift to thermocontractible stubs has influenced fall in cable line damageability. For further reduction of cable line damages, he branch carries out technical control during the whole period of laying and installation of cable lines. Amounts of works on replacement (reconstruction) of grids are being increased.
Under implementation of repairs, new modern equipment, materials and components have been used. It allowed increase in efficiency of implemented works.
One of principle ways to solve tasks of Moscow Electric Networks, a branch of JSC “MOESK” is increase in reliability under transmission and distribution of electric energy, reliable and failure-free electric energy supply of consumers living in Moscow city, and increase in quality of cable grids service.
