The General Director of IDGC of Volga, PJSC, as a member of Rosseti PJSC delegation, took part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum - 2018.

On the first day, representatives of the Rosseti group of companies, heads of the entities of the Russian Federation, as well as heads of the largest enterprises specializing in the production of power equipment, discussed the plan for implementing the strategy of power grid complex digitalization. The discussion was held within the session “Digital Transformation of Russia’s Electric Power Industry: Readiness for Challenges, Openness to Opportunities.” The discussants noted that, besides the reconstruction of the existing energy system infrastructure, unique non-standard solutions will be necessary to effectively implement the process of Russian power grids digitalization.
“The speech of the General Director of the Rosseti PJSC Pavel Anatolievich Livinsky aroused great interest among those present, as it concerned the most important issues of the development of the domestic electric power industry on the way towards digitalization,” - said Ryabikin V.A., Director General of IDGC of Volga, PJSC, - “The result of switching to digital technology will be a cheaper and more reliable power supply to consumers even in the most remote regions of the company’s area of responsibility.
Today, IDGC of Volga, following the Rosseti’s way towards power grid complex digitalization, is implementing projects to establish intelligent metering of electric power, to build digital substations, to create smart dispatching. At the same time, the Volga power engineers actively introduce domestic innovative equipment, materials and technologies. Participation in such significant world-class events, exchange of opinions and experience with Russian and foreign colleagues, of course, allows us, power engineers, to develop the most effective approach to the implementation of digitalization project of domestic power grid complex. ”
