During his meeting with Pavel Livinskiy, Head of Rosseti Group, which took place in Moscow today Francesco Starace, Director General of Enel, a major international energy holding, confirmed his high interest in the development of comprehensive cooperation with the Russian partners.
In the course of the conversation, the top executives expressed their mutual willingness to continue working together on the introduction of intelligent electricity metering systems and also on the development of electric charging infrastructure.
Enel was one of the first European companies to use actively Smart Grid technology, and it is ready to participate in digital transformation projects implemented by Rosseti.
During a constructive dialogue the parties agreed to continue consultations on a wide range of issues, as well as to work out the issue of concluding a cooperation agreement that defines the detailed parameters of cooperation.
Rosseti has been paying great attention to the development of international partnerships and welcomes an exchange of best practices with foreign colleagues. At the Electric Networks international which was held in December last year, Pavel Livinskiy, Director General of Rosseti, in particular spoke about business opportunities for the Russian electric power structure which the global energy companies can join to, and among other things he noted the already existing positive experience of cooperation with the Enel holding.
