Munich hosted a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Horst Seehofer, Bavarian Prime Minister.

The meeting participants discussed the Russian-German cooperation deepening in the energy sector.

In addition, the parties continued the dialog regarding potential implementation of joint gas-powered generation projects in Bavaria.

Bavaria is the largest of the 16 federal states of Germany. It has the highest economic and scientific potential, and shows the best economic growth. Machine building, electrical engineering, power generation and chemical sectors are Bavaria's most developed industries.
