In the year 2003, Rail Transport Department of «Nizhnekamskneftekhim» Inc operated in strenuous conditions: the volumes of feedstock and finished products for transportation increased due to growth of production volumes. Over 380 rail cars were exploited monthly to deliver finished products to consumers. The rolling stock is being regularly updated. Last year Nizhnekamskneftekhim Inc purchased 78 cars, and this year new boxcars will be acquired.

Rail Transport Department pays much attention to repairing and maintaining the rolling stock in running order. Last year over 350 cars were overhauled, 157 rail tank cars were fatigue-tested.
