MOSCOW, Russia (November 28, 2005). Golden Telecom, Inc. (“Golden Telecom” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: “GLDN”), announced it has opened a second site for the Company’s call center specifically to offer Call Processing Center (CPC) services to clients.
The new site has an area of 800 square meters and has 170 fully equipped operator workplaces designed to process clients' calls. From the first day of operations, over 50% of the new site area has been utilized for commercial projects for clients such as Microsoft, Unified Inquiry Service, and others.
To address the growth and further development of call center services, Golden Telecom is already planning to further expand the CPC area and services with a possible location of such facilities outside Moscow.
According to Svetlana Kostyukova, Head of the Customer Care Division, “Launching of the new site means only one thing for us – the call center business is successfully growing. We look forward to expanding our business and service offerings to meet the growing demand in Russia and the CIS.”
