The Gazprom headquarters hosted today a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company’s Management Committee and Sergey Vakhrukov, Governor of the Yaroslavl Oblast.
The parties addressed the progress with the Cooperation Agreement between Gazprom and the Yaroslavl Oblast Administration. Particular attention was paid to regional gasification. It was noted that Gazprom was planning to complete modernization of the Ananyino gas distribution station and put it into operation in the coming year.
In addition, Alexey Miller and Sergey Vakhrukov discussed the issues of cooperation deepening between Gazprom and Saturn – Gas Turbines.
Background:
The Cooperation Agreement between Gazprom and the Yaroslavl Oblast Government was signed in February 2005 for an indefinite period, the Gasification Accord – in December 2003. The Partnership Agreement for 2010–2014 was inked in June 2010.
The average gasification level in the Yaroslavl Oblast amounts to 71.2 per cent, including 88.2 per cent in cities and towns and 20.8 per cent in the rural area. The identical figures throughout Russia average 63.2, 67.5 and 45.5 per cent respectively.
Gazprom invested over RUB 1.3 billion in the Yaroslavl Oblast gasification between 2003 and 2009.
In 2010 the Company allocated RUB 250 million to complete construction of two inter-settlement gas pipelines with the total length of 37.4 kilometers.
In turn, the Yaroslavl Oblast Administration arranged timely consumer preparation for gas supply.
Saturn – Gas Turbines (Rybinsk) makes gas turbine engines, gas compressor units and power station equipment on Gazprom’s orders.
