The Board of Directors’ meeting has adjourned at the Gazprom Headquarters.

The Board of Directors took notice of the information on the progress with implementing the South Stream project, with elaborating a feasibility study (FS) for the gas pipeline construction, as well as with performing reconnaissance and environmental assessment along the pipeline route in Turkey’s exclusive economic zone.

Background:

As part of the South Stream project execution the Consolidated Feasibility Study is being elaborated including the FS for the offshore section and the gas pipelines in Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary and Greece.

At present, talks are underway on the participation of Austria and Slovenia in the project.
