Samara Distribution Grids, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group), summarized results of the repair program for the first six months of 2017. All planned actions are being performed in line with the schedule. From January to June, Saratov power engineers repaired 332.8 km of 35-110 kV power transmission lines and 1,147 km of 0.4–10 kV lines. In the course of the repairs, 132.2 km of cables, 10,667 insulators and 1,293 supports were replaced on transmission lines of various voltages. Repairs covered 40 substations of 35–10 kV, 402 power transformers of 35–110 kV, 200 breakers and circuit breakers of 35–110 kV, 274 disconnectors of 35–110 kV, 347 switches of 6–110 kV and 874 package transformer substations of 6–10/0.4 kV. 15 high-voltage inputs of 35–110 kV were replaced. Much effort is put in clearing ROW corridors. Works with extensive use of mulching vehicles were performed on the area of 434 ha. Proper implementation of the repair program is a key element of ensuring reliable performance of power grids and stable power supply during the autumn-winter season 2017/2018 in the Saratov region. Similar works are underway at other branches of IDGC of Volga, PJSC: Samara Distribution Grids, Ulyanovsk Distribution Grids, Penzaenergo, Orenburgenergo, Mordovenergo and Chuvashenergo.
