Volume of cargoes transported by vessels of the Primorsk Shipping Corporation in 2003 is 10,794 mln tons which has increased record figure of the year 2001 when 10,4 mln. tons of cargoes were delivered to customers. So in 2003 the Company had the best fleet operations results for all the time of its existence. In 2003 PRISCO vessels transported 9.7% cargoes more than in 2002 when totally there were delivered 9,844 mln. tons. Last year PRISCO for the first time for many long years resumed transportation of oil products to Russian Arctic and delivered 15,800 tons. Totally there were delivered 462,000 tons of cabotage cargoes which is 9.5% less of the year 2002 level; 2,605 mln. tons of export-import cargoes that is nearly the same level of transportation on this direction with the year 2002. PRISCO vessels are going on to take active part in transportation of Sakhalin oil, in 2003 there were transported 1,409 mln. tons which is 200,000 tons less than in the year 2002. Nevertheless its share in the total volume of PRISCO transportations is still high, it is 13,1%. Totally PRISCO vessels transported 779,000 tons of oil from De-Kastri and 631,000 tons – from Vitiaz Oil Terminal. Main increase of transportation volumes 14.8% was provided by the Company fleet working at the international market: there were transported 7,727 mln. tons compared to 6,730 mln. tons of cargoes of the year 2002. PRISCO profit for the year 2003 is expected to be higher than it was planned.
