In 2010 IDGC North-West spent 93.5 million rubles for implementation of  measures to protect the environment.

In 2010, branches of North-West IDC conducted an internal environmental audit. On the basis of audit reports were developed and are being implemented environmental protection measures. As the priority objectives were identified security measures to reduce negative environmental impact and  analysis environmental activity.
In addition, personnel of all branches of the company is actively involved in the social project "Let's save energy of forests", initiated by Holding IDGC, with the participation of the Institute of social memory. Everyone could take part in tree planting. In April-June 2011, employees of  IDGCNorth-West planted more than 17 thousand trees.
