The works were completed according to the 2016 repair program schedule of Saratov Distribution Grids, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies).

Upon performance of repair operations defective insulators were replaced. Wires and ground wires were revised, pole basements were repaired. The completed works also included lopping along the corridors of the power transmission lines, vegetation management activities, debris clearing.

Saratovskaya-Zapadnaya overhead power transmission lines with a voltage of 110 kV and a length of 11.5 km will ensure power supply to the central regions of Saratov. Its timely repair will improve operational safety of the power facility and reliability of power supply to consumers.
