Moscow, Russian Federation – Mobile TeleSystems OJSC (“MTS” – NYSE: MBT), the largest mobile phone operator in Russia and the CIS, announces that that its consolidated subscriber base reached 88.47 million users on October 31, 2008.
During October MTS’ consolidated subscriber base increased by 0.90 million subscribers with 0.48 million added in Russia.
