JSC “MOESK” sums up work on prevention and elimination of emergency situations and civil defence in 2010.
Within 2010, the electric grid facilities of the Company were twice placed into the mode of the increased readiness in connection with mass fires and ice storm.
The educational and methodical centers on civil defence and emergency situations of Moscow and the Moscow Area hosted the training of 146 people of the Company administrative personnel and 1,047 people of non-professional emergency response teams. More than 13,500 people were trained in the actions in crisis situations directly at branches.
Five complex joint exercises were devoted to preparation for crises, during which the issues of arrangement of cooperation in the process of liquidation of emergency modes, which caused mass switching-off of consumers from electric power supply, were discussed. Two of such exercises were held with participation of the Fuel and Energy Department of Moscow and the Fuel and Energy Committee of the Moscow Area.
Based on the results of the year and conclusions of the checks, the best results were achieved by Moscow Cable Grids, Northern and Central Electric Grids - the branches of JSC “MOESK”.
