Management
of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region held a meeting
with representatives of the investment community, dedicated to the
results of work in 2017 and guidance for 2018. The "Analyst’s
Day" aroused considerable interest on the part of analysts from
the largest banks and investment companies. IDGC of Centre was
represented at the event by Acting Deputy General Director for
Economy and Finance Alexander Inozemtsev, Chief Accountant Lyudmila
Sklyarova, Deputy General Director for Corporate Governance Sergey
Sharapov, and Director for Economy of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region
Artem Aleshin.
The main attention of the meeting participants was paid to the
published IFRS statements of the companies. Both companies under the
management of IDGC of Centre - managing organization IDGC of Centre
and Volga Region not only provided qualitative and uninterrupted
power supply in 20 regions of Central Russia and the Volga region in
2017, but also showed a significant increase in operating efficiency.
As part of the presentation of operational and financial results,
Alexander Inozemtsev told the participants of the "Analyst’s
Day" about the main trends in the tariff regulation of the
industry, the first results of the performance of the functions of
the sole executive body of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region and
prospects for the companies in the framework of approved business
plans.
The centralization of the management functions of IDGC of Centre
and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region has already made it possible to
achieve good results in terms of reducing operating expenses, which
in turn contributed to improving the quality of both companies and
increasing their financial stability and investment case. To improve
the reliability and continuity of power supply to consumers, we
successfully and systematically solved the task of reducing the
timing of first responding and restoration operations. Optimization
of the centralized emergency stock, reserve of redundant sources of
power supply was carried out. Operational and situational management
of the grid complex of the two companies has already been integrated
and functions as a single whole. A corporate information system based
on the combined resource of the common information complex has been
created.
Following the results of the "Analyst’s Day" Alexander
Inozemtsev noted that holding meetings of this format positively
affects the reputation of the companies, contributes to increasing
disclosure and helps representatives of the investment community make
informed decisions in the field of investment and capital management.
