IDGC of Volga, JSC, has obtained a certificate on the compliance of the quality management system with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 standard with an RvA accreditation and a certificate of the IQNet uniform international certification network. The work on introducing the international standard into the company’s management activities began in April 2011.
The quality management system of IDGC of Volga, JSC, has been tested and recognized as complying with the ISO 9001:2008 requirements in the following types of activities: rendering services on electrical energy transmission; operations and process management; rendering services on the technological connection of power receiving devices (electric power installations) of legal entities and individuals to power grids. The ISO 9001:2008 implies that the production and company management process itself is certified.
Thus the quality is controlled at all the stages of service rendering. The ISO 9001:2008 enables the Company’s management to obtain reliable and up-to-date information on the activity results, facilitates the coordination of the structural subdivisions’ activities, motivates employees to provide a high level of quality and improves the work discipline. Specified procedures and detailed instructions help rule out the possibility of functions and works duplication and prevent routine errors. Besides, the certification enhances the credibility level on the part of investment and insurance companies and simplifies the loaning procedure.
