Moscow, February 12, 2018 − ALROSA Group, the world leader in diamond production, announces diamond sales results for January 2018.

For the first month of this year, ALROSA Group sold USD 504.5 million worth of rough and polished diamonds. Rough diamond sales by value amounted to USD 499 million, polished diamond sales – USD 5.5 million.

“Earlier this year, we have seen good demand for the whole assortment of our diamond products. It was supported by positive trends in the major sales markets backed by good retail sales results in 2017, including the Christmas season, and growing polished diamond prices in January,” commented on the January sales results ALROSA Deputy CEO Yury Okoemov.
