Moscow, 2 May 2006. The Federal Service for Financial Markets (FSFM) of Russia registered on 27 April 2006 the share issue prospectuses of the companies spun off from OAO "Lenenergo" and OAO "Kolenergo".

The securities regulator registered the prospectuses of OAO "Petersburg Generation Company", OAO "Kolskaya Generation Company", and OAO "Apatitskaya CHPP", whose shares had been distributed among the shareholders of the respective energy companies reorganized through spin-off.

OAO "Petersburg Generation Company":

• 766,035,008 uncertificated registered ordinary shares, par value RUB10 per share, for a total value of RUB7,660,350,080. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 1-01-55166-?;
• 131,328,000 uncertificated registered Type A preferred shares, par value RUB10 per share, for a total value of RUB1,313,280,000. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 2-01-55166-E.

OAO "Kolskaya Generation Company":

• 357,158,757 uncertificated registered ordinary shares, par value RUB4 per share, for a total value of RUB1,428,635,028. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 1-01-55164-?;
• 118,405,759 uncertificated registered Type A preferred shares, par value RUB4 per share, for a total value of RUB473,623,036. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 2-01-55164-E.

OAO "Apatitskaya CHPP":

• 357,158,757 uncertificated registered ordinary shares, par value RUB0.6 per share, for a total value of RUB214,295,254.2. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 1-01-55146-?;
• 118,405,759 uncertificated registered Type A preferred shares, par value RUB0.6 per share, for a total value of RUB214,295,254.2. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 2-01-55146-?.

The above companies completed their state registration on 1 October 2005.
