| Moscow and New York (May 21, 2007) — Open Joint Stock Company "Vimpel-Communications" ("VimpelCom" or the "Company") (NYSE: VIP), announced today that it will webcast its conference call on its first quarter 2007 financial and operating results on Friday, May 25, 2007, at 6:30 p.m. Moscow time (10:30 a.m. ET). The conference call will be hosted by Alexander Izosimov, Chief Executive Officer. He will be joined by Elena Shmatova, Chief Financial Officer, Nikolay Pryanishnikov, Executive Vice President – General Director, Russia; and Kent McNeley, Chief Marketing Officer. The press release announcing the Company’s first quarter 2007 financial results will be available on the Company's web site, located at https://www.vimpelcom.com, prior to the conference call.
The Company's management will discuss its first quarter 2007 results during a conference call and slide presentation.
