Moscow, 22 May 2007. RAO "UES of Russia" will takes part in the 5th RUSSIA POWER Conference and Exhibition.

The event will take place on 29 to 31 May 2007 and will comprise an exhibition, which will demonstrate the most advanced technological solutions, and a conference. During the conference, Russian and Western experts will address the issues of major importance to the Russian electricity industry and share their experience.

The conference participants will discuss, among other things, questions relating to the operation of energy companies in a market undergoing liberalization, attraction of investments in the electricity sector, raising energy efficiency and fighting environment pollution.

Reports at the Conference will be presented by Management Board member, Financial Director of RAO "UES of Russia" Sergey Dubinin; Management Board member, Technical Director of RAO "UES of Russia" Boris Vainzikher; Head of the Directorate for organization and methodology of competitive procurement and standardization of RAO "UES of Russia" Alexey Romanov; Director General of Energy Carbon Fund of RAO "UES of Russia" Andrey Gorkov, and some others.
