Resolution about the ending of heating season was signed by the head of MU UD (municipal union of urban district) «Syktyvkar» administration. Heating season might be ended if daily average temperature of the outdoor air is higher than +8 degrees during 5 days. Heat supply is shut off in the houses of municipal housing stock, AOA (accomodation owners association), building societies, socio-cultural and domestic establishments except hospitals, kindergartens, orphanages, boarding schools and rehabilitation centre for minors in Verhniy Chov settlement.

In all the rest branches of «TGC-9» public corporation, situated on the territory of the KR («Uhta heat network», «Sosnogorsk HPP», «Inta HPP», «Vorkuta HPP-1», «Vorkuta HPP-2») heating season is going on. Last year it ended in Uhta – on May, 24, in Sosnogorsk – on June,1, in Inta – on June, 17, in Vorkuta – on June, 23.

In Syktyvkar this week it’s planned to shut off hot running water throughout main heat networks for carrying out the first stage of tests and repair work, connected with preparation for the heating season 2007-2008. All the actions are aimed at increasing the quality of consumer service during the next heating season.
