Perm, May, 21, 2007. From the 13^th till 18^th of May 2007 final competitions of operating personnel of public corporation «TGC-9» thermoelectric power stations with cross link were being held in Dobryanka the Perm Territory. Perm Heat and Power Plant (HPP) took the first place, Sosnogorsk HPP took the second, Pervouralsk HPP – the third.

The purpose of the competition was raising the level of TEPS personnel vocational training, prevention of incidents because of workers erroneous actions, control of personnel actions in extreme cases and ensuring reliability of stations work. «TGC-9» production branches teams that took first and second places in company elimination contests held from the 11^th till 21^st of April, 2007 in Dobryanka arrived to participate in the professional competition. From the Komi Republic the teams of Sosnogorsk HPP and Vorkuta HPP-1 took part in the competitions, from Sverdlovsk region – the teams of Pervouralsk HPP and Kachkanar HPP, from the Perm Territory – representatives of Perm HPP-9 and Perm HPP-6. Every team consisted of station shiftman, boiler-and-turbine workshop shiftman, electric workshop shiftman, chemical workshop shiftman, thermal automation and measuring workshop shiftman, boiler operator and turbine operator.

Judges estimated the proffesional abilities of stations workers at 5 stages. Thus at the first stage the teams demonstrated the level of normative-technical documents knowledge. At the second the participants of the competition showed the knowledge of labour protection and safety measures regulations. At the third and the forth ones the personnel ability to carry out stations equipment switching in normal and emergency operating conditions was checked. Skills of applying first aid to injured were demonstrated at the fifth stage.

First deputy general manager of technological policy – public corporation «TGC-9» chief engineer, chief justice of the competitions Vladimir Busorgin: «In the competitions those stations won the victory that possessed a stronger team spirit. I wish all teams not to stop at the reached positions but to keep perfecting. It’s necessary to bring the knowledge got here to their own collectives, to stations daily life. The main thing is to achieve the same indices in everyday work».

Perm HPP-9, Sosnogorsk HPP and Pervouralsk HPP will take part in interregional competitions. The best team of the Komi Republic will represent TGC-9 in the competition of Northwest Region of Russia. The best teams of Sverdlovsk Region and the Perm territory will represent TGC-9 in the competition of the Ural Region of Russia, which will take place in the Perm Territory in June.
