On meeting with RF regional executives

On April 6, Gazprom’s Headquarters have hosted a meeting between the Company’s top managers and representatives of the executive branch of 13 RF Republics, Territories and Regions.

Attending the meeting were Alexander Ryazanov, Deputy Chairman of Gazprom’s Management Committee, Sergey Ushakov, Deputy Chairman of Gazprom’s Management Committee, Viktor Ilyushin, Member of the Management Committee & Head of the Department of Relationships with Regional Authorities of the Russian Federation, Boris Posyagin, Head of the Central Gas Flow Dispatching Department and Nikolai Isakov, Deputy Director General of Mezhregiongaz.

The meeting studied possibilities of developing RF regional gas sectors, optimizing the gas supply structure, implementing the gasification program for Russian constituents over 2005 to 2007 and enhancing the gas payment discipline.

The meeting highlighted the progress in cooperation between Gazprom and regional authorities.

The participants also visited the Central Gas Flow Dispatching Department, which is a key production unit of Gazprom.

As part of the meeting schedule, on April 6-8 representatives of the Gazprom top management and RF regional executive branch are to undertake a trip to conventional gas extraction regions. The parties will pay a visit to production facilities of Yamburggazdobycha and Nadymgazprom, social & cultural infrastructure constructed by Gazprom in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area and settlements of the Far North’s native population.

As at April 1, 2006 Gazprom has entered into agreements on cooperation with 72 RF constituents. Preparatory work is currently underway to sign agreements on cooperation with further seven RF regions.

Gazprom now supplies gas to 66 RF regions.

Gas deliveries in 2005 have been paid up at 98.4 per cent, with RF consumers’ gas debt to Gazprom equating to RUR 28.1 bln as of January 1, 2006. The bulk is owed by the population (65.2 per cent) and utilities (16.1 per cent).
