Moscow, October 07, 2008. The MICEX stock exchange completed a scheduled quarterly revision of bases of account of MICEX branch indexes, to result in a new makeup of index bases of account approved for the 4th quarter of 2008.

Effective from October 27 to January 23, 2009, the branch index bases of account have been amended to incorporate ordinary shares of OJSC INTER RAO UES into the MICEX base of account for the electric power sector (MICEX PWR).

In accordance with the rules of branch index account based on the share prices as of October 23 there will be calculated new weight factors for the shares included into the base of account of indexes. Moreover, in compliance with the recommendations of the Index Committee, the significances of free-float factors will be updated for the stock in the base of account of indexes. The new significances of free-float factors and weight factors will become effective as of October 27, 2008.
