On 14th–18th February 2006 North-West Telecom is taking part in the 13th International Exhibition of Communication and Telecommunication Systems – Norwecom-2006 – and invites everybody to visit the events of the exhibition.

This year, in the framework of the exhibition, North-West Telecom will present the service of broadband access to the Internet using the ADSL technology under the new @vant-garde trademark. Visitors of the exhibition will be able to try the @vant-garde service directly at the NWT's stand, check the technical feasibility of connecting to the service from their homes, acquire an ADSL-modem, fill out an order and sign a contract, choosing the most suitable rate.

Simultaneously with introducing the new brand to the market, NWT will announce two events - special offer of connection to the @vant-garde service and a new ADSL rate of 256K.

Besides the services of broadband access, North-West Telecom will present the following services:

 - @vance - Internet on credit;

 - value added services;

 - Triple Play – a package of integrated services: telephone communication, Internet access, television and video on demand provided via one broadband channel on the basis of the IP technology.

 - at 12.45: a briefing dedicated to the award of the prize "Leader of the Russian Business in Telecommunications and Communication";  

 - at 13.30: the ceremony of opening  the Norwecom-2006 exhibition;

The following speakers will deliver their reports at the plenary session of the conference, among others:

 - CEO of OJSC NWT V.Akulich with a report "Basic Areas of the Strategic Development of OJSC North-West Telecom for the Period till 2008";

 - Deputy General Manager  – TEO O.Semanov –  with a report "Approaches to Solving the Technical Problems of Demonopolizing the Russian Market of Telecommunications";

 - Head of the New Technologies Department V.Nesterenko with a report "Development of the Multiservice Network of OJSC North-West Telecom to the year 2009".
