Gazprom’s Management Committee Chairman, Alexey Miller, and the Governor of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area (YaNAA), Yury Neelov, signed Cooperation Agreement for 2004.
Under the Agreement reached, Gazprom will transfer over RR 17 billion in taxes and other payments to the YaNAA regional and local budgets. The YaNAR’s administration intends, in its turn, to forward part of these funds on implementing social and cultural programs.
In 2004, Gazprom will deliver to the YaNAA products of hydrocarbon processing and will continue to supply natural gas to the Tazovsky settlement. The parties will jointly put into operation the Labytnangi–Kharp gas branch and build the Zapolyarnoye–Tazovsky highway, alongside with other social sphere’s facilities.
By yearend 2004, the parties have to complete the inventory of the facilities being constructed in the YaNAA by Gazprom’s subsidiaries. Based on the inventory results, the parties will adopt a resolution on transferring ownership rights to these facilities to the YaNAA municipal bodies.
The YaNAA’s administration will assist the Gazprom Group in resolving issues related to the land tenure and state registration of the rights to and transactions with real estate in concern, including registration of land areas to be used for constructing the Pestsovoye field facilities.
In late June and December 2004, the parties agreed to sign relevant binding Protocols.
